Baxter’s new outdoor line is a manifesto of renewed values. Inspired by the need to also furnish the outdoors, to consider the “exterior” in its entirety, it is the result of research that has taken several years. A careful study of forms and materials that expresses the desire to lend not only creative but also structural, tangible coherence to the space and the imagination.
Created in-house together with some of Baxter’s signature designers, the pieces in the line are conceived to dialogue with one other and with the interior; versatile, they form an ideal bridge between the present and the future.
The outdoor Borea two-seater and three-seater sofas by Piero Lissoni feature a tubular metal frame with a fluid and seamless design, without joints and interruptions, and an unexpected motif in the end part that rests on the ground.
A delicate balance of oval shapes defines the essence of the Borea lounge sunbed by Piero Lissoni, a small yet surprising series of outdoor lounge sunbeds with character that are impossible to forget.
Borea is an outdoor dining table characterized by the particular steel frame that supports the large lava stone top. The latter, sourced from Etna, is processed as large, rectangular glazed tiles available in three bright and sophisticated colours: sage, clay and ocean blue.
The name A’mare expresses the love for designing together with the idea of solidifying water into precious objects. Sea and water, with their stunning reflections, become the protagonists of the living space through these furniture pieces that are welcoming landscapes of relaxation and comfort.
A’mare collection meets all the values of universality of use of the Edra collection. Created to last over time, A’mare fits easily into interior spaces, given the purity of its aesthetics.
A collection composed of chair, armchair, bench, sun lounger, coffee table and tables. Handmade with polycarbonate sticks, deliberately irregular to obtain heterogeneous surfaces that can be perceived only to the touch. The various sticks are joined together following very elementary plots with the help of special screws.
Already in the interior decor line, Cassina introduces a solid teak outdoor version of the iconic Doron Hotel design armchair by Charlotte Perriand: comfortable, substantial, its soft, sleek lines pleasing to the touch.
This armchair was designed in 1947 by Charlotte Perriand for the Méribel Les Allues ski resort and for the Hotel Doron, one of the first chalet-hotels. The French designer was one of the first to take an interest in the relationship between humans and the surrounding environment, seeking out natural materials to use in her projects.
In Cara armchair by Philippe Starck con Sergio Schito, classically rigorous lines surround a comfortable seat. The perfect combination of formalism and technological innovation, for an original product with an industrial vibe that extends Kartell’s range of soft furnishings.
“When we think of an armchair, we always think of something extra, something bigger, something more in every sense. On the contrary, Cara shows that the less we do and the less we have, the better we feel. Elegance of the minimum”. -Philippe Starck con Sergio Schito
